I can never get it right. It’s like dusting in a sunbeam, where you see all the particles swirlng through the air and you are unable to capture them. You know they’re going to settle right back down on the surface you just dusted. The weight of hopelessness is so strong. It’s not that I believe I’ve done too much for God to forgive, it’s that I can’t begin to confess everything. It’s not only a matter of where do I begin, but also when do I stop?

I say that because my response was completely the opposite. I often do not care for background music – finding it sappy and distracting – but I found yours to be tasteful and enhancing to the readings and the mood. Thank you for the podcasts – they are very effective.

Today’s on confession was super good. My only suggestion is that the background music is WAY too loud. I could barely hear the scripture readings and then when you got to your ending prayer – such a distraction.
