Thank you. It’s easy to imagine God crying over us right now, but God singing and laughing over us? That’s a bit more of a stretch. 🙂

Recount God’s presence with you. Let your life be shaped, not by darkness, but by the Great Delight.”

I think this is beautiful. Unfortunately, in my case, it has not been positively received. When you raise your kids in a fundamentalist place, then meet Jesus by the River, the people around you tend to think you’re crazy, despite the obvious changes they see in you. I’ve had one of my sons tell me that the things I see in my prayers scare him. They seem to cling to a heavily-influenced rules-based religion, rather than one that changes the heart.

I’ve some hope that will turn in time. I think I just have to be patient, to trust in the slow work of God, and to use wisdom when telling of the things the Spirit shows me as I pray.

Thank you for your work!
