Thank you for the book Sacred Rhythm. The spiritual disciplines in that book is from the past, and that lifestyle will lead into the future. If followers of Jesus come to God and have an honest relationship with Him, then the future will be all about Him. Simplistic thinking. But with Jesus, everything will be alright. Everything is God ordained, so we can hope in Him.

Thank you for this enthusiastic response. I am glad it stirs excitement within you. I do want to be clear that what I have described here is not “my vision” as much as it is my observations about what the Spirit is doing. To me, this is both encouraging (that God really is up to something) and challenging because it clarifies the choice we have to join and participate in what the Spirit is doing–or not!
